GABRIEL AND HIS NEW SADDLE

Fellow believers and members of our church donated money so that Gabriel could use his horse to climb very steep quebradas. The bridge to and from his house was washed out so the saddle equipped Gabriel to have a form of transportation for him, his family and the community!!!

ELLIE'S TEACHER

Anabelle Parker is Ellie's teacher this year. Please be in prayer for she and her husband who are being led to a new venture with a people group in the jungle of Brazil. I mention this because both are MK's (missionary kids) who have followed God's lead to teach my children and many others at Alliance. Now, they are on a new mission!! Please pray for them as they transition into this new mission in the next year!!

AFTERMATH OF MUDSLIDE IN IBARRA

Gabriel and others looking on at the damage from the mudslide. Many of their roads were washed away as well.

Michael left Quito for Ibarra soon after the mudslide that destroyed several homes and main bridges that go from one quebrada (valley) to another. The mudslide was so big that it flowed all the way into the main town where the small airport was covered in one foot of mud.

MICHAEL AND GABRIEL AT RADIO STATION

Michael was asked to do a Bible study on the radio that serves communities in and around Ibarra. Gabriel who is a paster in this area has a radio program every week. Michael was honored to be asked to do this. It certainly was a first!! This radio station broadcasts in Spanish and Quichua.
