Ellie's "12th" Birthday in Quito, Ecuador

Ellie on her Birthday decided to spend time at the dump donating  her stuffed animals to the "dump minstry." The children of the dump employees have a day care now where they are well fed and taken care of by volunteer workers. This ministry was started by Extreme Reponse. Dustin serves at this "dump ministry" every Wednesday spending time playing and sharing Jesus with the children.

We went to Chicberry, a frozen yogurt self-serve cafe!!

Ellie and Sarah, her dear friend, celebrating her 12th Birthday!! Nana was able to be there so it was extra special. Of course, Dustin came too!  Unfortunately, Michael could not be there because he was with the volunteer team doing medical missions!!

National House church pastors from two different provinces of Ecuador

The meeting of these two pastors took 5 1/2 years.....it is about 3 to 4 hours of rough terrain between the two locations of pastors. God's timing is always perfect but we must be patient.

But it wasn't a raft really....it was material to make woven work matts...this was the only way for the Quichua to transport the material!!
