SpongeBob

This is the story: On the Ecuadorian Coast, it is a tradition that the locals build out of paper mache different characters that they like and dislike. Then at midnight on New Year's Eve, you burn what ever character you have. We bought SpongeBob.

Our new friend Ana

This picture was taken the last day of classes when we had to say goodbye to our wonderful friend and teacher, Ana Maneses. I put a picture on the blog last month of her husband and children, Fredrico, Gloria and little Fredrico. We just love them dearly and will miss them but they have promised to come and see us while we are here in Quito, Ecuador.

Ellie and "Tommy" the Buck look a like

Amazingly enough, everyday walking to school we walked by this house who owned this dog. Who does he look just alike? Buck. God is sooo good. It was so good for the kids. We would by dog treats at the grocery and feed him everyday on our walk to school.

Dustin enjoyed "Buck" on our trek to school everyday as well.
