CARNAVAL 2010




THIS IS ALL THE MK'S FROM OUR MISSION ENJOYING CARNAVAL IN THE PARK. THE TRADITION IS AN ECUADORIAN HOLIDAY (2 DAYS) OF BALLOON THROWING AND "ESPUMA" WHICH IS A FOAM IN A CAN. ANYONE DURING THESE TWO DAYS "IS GAME" NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE IN THE CITY. NEEDLESS TO SAY, THE KIDS HAD A GREAT TIME.

HIS TEAM WON THE COTOPAXI BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT AND THE QUISSA LEAGUE CHAMPIONS FOR THE YEAR!!!!FIRST TIME EVER!!!
COTOPAXI IS ANOTHER INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL WHO IS A HUGE RIVAL. MR. PARKER IS THEIR COACH. HE IS AN "MK" (MISSIONARY KID) AND IS A HUGE TARHEEL FAN. YIPPEEEE!!!

Emma, LuLu, AJ, and Ellie feeding a new born calf. Calacali is a property owned by Alliance Academy. It is a farm where any class can go and retreat. Over the years, the classes have planted trees, plants and flowers on the propery. It is such a beautiful place.

Michael and I had the pleasure of treating all the house church leaders to a rib dinner at Edwardo's hostal. What a blessing!!! Many of these families had never set down to dinner using a fork and knife only a spoon.
