Worship Service with the Carcelen Church and Enterprise Baptist

Michael, the multitasker

Michael proved that men can multitask.

Hugh, Larry's faithful servant the whole week

Hugh "manned" Larry's office and took his patients to see the eye doctor or to the pharmacy

Scott, our future IMB missionary

Scott worked the waiting room making sure that each patient was seen and in the right order (one at a time, right Scott!!!)

Darren, our pastor

Darren and several other missionaries assisted in Evangelism, the most important station of the clinic. Darren's Spanish came back clear and concise.

Carla, our fierce leader

Carla was available for whatever and whenever all week long. She made friends along the way, too!!

Greg Powell, our triage man

Greg along with some local missionaries worked in triage, blood pressure, temperature,etc....He was crowd control as well.

Lisa, Michael's sister

Lisa,Scott and Greg were in charge of crowd control the entire week. Obviously, Lisa made friends along the way.

Lynn, our person in charge of the waiting room for "Meds"

Pharmacy

My mom or Nell, Alex, our translator, and Brenda, a missionary here in Ecuador managed and dispensed medicine the entire week.

Kathy and Melissa, our nurses

Kathy is a missionary here in Ecuador who teamed up with Melissa to share the patient load with Larry. The nurses and the Doctor saw about 700 patients.

Larry Williams, patient and me

I was Larry's translator the whole week. Larry and the nurses saw about 700 patients with varying illnesses from colds to severe epilepsy and diabetes.

Annette,Stephanie and Sarah

Sarah is an MK (missionary kid) from Ecuador who translated for Annette and Stephanie while they taught the children's ministry and dental hygiene.

Dustin and Scott in the Hostal

Reviewing the Gospel of John deciding how they were going to witness to the people of Carcelen Ecuador.

DR. HARRY STARNES

Harry was our "eye doctor" who saw each person that needed glasses only for reading. "Mejor o Peor" (Better or Worse) was his script. What a blessing to have Harry at this station.

Medicines to be organized

This is what the medicines looked like before they were organized and categorized into pain, pulmonary, etc....

Hostal Owners

Edwardo, Raquel, and Maria, wonderful Christian family who catered to each and every one of our needs.
