CHRISTIAN CLOWN

They had a great time. They all thought Ellie swam like a fish in the water!!!

Michael and I took the Carcelen church to a pool in Guayabamba, a little barrio outside of Quito. We all had a great time. This is the first time they had been to the pool!! What a blessing it was!!!

On this particular day, we joined this pastor and his wife to help vaccinate animals in Quinche as a means to share the gospel in a very closed community.

DAY OF FANESCA DURING SAMANTA SANTA



Mari is preparing in the pot the famous fanesca which includes many different beans and dried, cooked fish. Above is the some of the fish that goes in the fanesca or soup.


FAMILY EASTER VACATION AT COTOPAXI


Our view Easter morning when we woke up. What a mighty God we serve!!

Our humble abode for two days and two nights. We were roughin' it but had a great time.

Dustin and Ellie invited their missionary friend, Luke, to go with us on our camping trip to Cotopaxi. They had a blast.

Elllie had a sleepover and invited her dear friends, Emma, Mia, and AJ. Her friends Liza and Jennifer could not come.

Ellie and her 3rd grade class went again to Santos Pamba, a poor community south of Quito, where she and her classmates ministered to the children (2-5 yrs old.)They read them the Easter story and supplied "eggs" for an Easter Egg hunt. Each egg had a toy inside and you would have thought it was Christmas for these children. What a blessing!!!!!

OUR 17TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Michael surprised me for our wedding anniversary by taking me to "Arasha" a resort/spa which is North of Quito. We had a wonderful, relaxing time.

These are pictures of an orphanage that I have been visiting in South Quito. I had the privilege of meeting the "Madre" or nun who took care of two children that used to live here. The parents who are friends of my sister now have these children in a loving home in the states.

ONE OF MANY BAPTISMS IN THE HOUSE CHURCH NETWORK

This young fellow came to the Lord very recently and decided to be obedient in believer's baptism this past Sunday at our House church network culto (worshiop service).


FIRE PROOF SCIENCE PROJECT

Dustin received an "A" on his Science Project for seventh grade. The competition was tough but he did an incredible job and worked very hard. We were so very proud of him.

The U.S. Ambassador of Ecuador attended the opening ceremonies for the baseball season. Dustin was chosen to catch the "first pitch."

Senior Fun Day also had a dunking booth of which Ellie stayed in all day long, imagine that!!! All the proceeds from this day went to pay for the Senior trip!
